Cookies:
When Users interact with the Website we strive to make that experience easy and
meaningful. When Users come to the Website, our web server sends a cookie to their
computer. Cookies are files that web browsers place on a computer's hard drive and
are used to tell us whether Users have visited the Website previously.
Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify Users. They merely store information
about the User's browser and other configuration settings. Unless a User chooses
to identify their self to Peracon, either by responding to a promotional offer or
subscriber invitation, opening an account, or registering on the Peracon site, they
remain anonymous to Peracon. Cookies come in two flavors: session and persistent-based.
Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from a User's
computer when they close their browser software or turn off their computer. Persistent
cookies remain on a User's computer after they have closed their browser or turned
off their computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for a browser
and other configuration settings.
Peracon uses session cookies to allow the system to uniquely identify Users while
they are logged in. This information allows Peracon to process online transactions
and requests. Session cookies help us make sure Users are who they say they are
after they have logged in and are required in order to use the Peracon application.
Peracon uses persistent cookies, which only Peracon can read and use, to identify
the fact that you are a Peracon User and or prior Peracon Website visitor (whatever
the case may be). We are especially careful about the security and confidentiality
of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account
numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. Users who disable their web browsers'
ability to accept cookies will be able to browse the Website but will not be able
to use successfully our Service.

and alteration of the data under our control. When the Website is accessed using
Netscape Navigator, or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.5 or higher, Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication
and data encryption to help ensure that data is safe, secure, and available only

and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Website in a secure server environment
that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access
from outside intruders. Finally, Peracon provides unique user names and passwords
that must be entered each time a User logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized
